Camellia Special
We can stay indoors all bundled up with our cozy throw in our comfy chair reading our seed catalogs and dreaming of spring gardens or... we can design the perfect placement for a lovely evergreen, southern shrub in our gardens, One that presents us with massive amounts of rosy pink and snow colored blooms for months during the cold months. I am referring to the Camellia Sansanqua. The Camellia that flowers starting last fall and depending on the variety, is still blooming in the winter garden.
At Pinecone Perennials we are going to share our enthusiasm with all of you about this wonderful shrub by offering you a special, " you have to have one or two" discount . For a limited time all of our 3 gallon camellias will be buy one at regular retail price, and get the second half price.
We have beautiful varieties to choose from so come and take advantage of the offer which will end January 10th.

MAY WE INTRODUCE MAILEE!
Hello my friends. My name is Mailee (pronounced Mailee) which means beautiful flower in Hawaiian. I am the newest addition to the Pinecone family and am looking forward to meeting all of you! I am certainly the apple of my mom’s and dad’s eye and although I am very young, I am learning the ropes around the garden center quickly.
Please come for a visit soon and I will be glad to give you a few wet, puppy kisses.
We want to thank all of you who so graciously offered your condolences, sent cards, emails, phone calls, fruit baskets, donations in Rudy’s name etc. We were overwhelmed and so grateful for wonderful people who are so caring. It has been a difficult time (especially for Wendy at the store without Rudy) however, all of your loving thoughts have helped get us through and therefore able to enjoy the new little one.
We love you all,
Wendy and Rob

We are heartbroken to have to tell the entire Pinecone family that our much loved "Bud" Rudy has passed away.
He will surely be missed by all of us.The years go by so quickly it seems. He has been with us and especially Wendy through everything. Good and bad, thick and thin, steadfast and always ready to go to work. His cheery welcome greetings every day between all the flowers was a comfort and made us all smile.
To everyone who let him brighten their day a little when you visited over the past 12 years and in turn made his day as well, we can never thank you enough.

WEATHER OR NOT!
Despite this crazy weather, our garden center is bursting at the seams with color in every variety of flowers, shrubs or trees!
We now have over 125 varieties of perennials! Amongst the wonderful tried and true types such as coreopsis, Echinacea, salvias, etc. we now are specializing in many terrific selections of “NATIVE” perennials. These natives are usually drought resistant, long lived, and most exciting, DEER RESISTANT! They are also known to attract hummingbirds, butterflies and are a great food source for our declining bee population.
“The Glade”, our Pinecone Perennials botanical garden is now in full bloom with azaleas, camellias and other beautiful plants. Why not take a quiet stroll down the winding path and allow the natural beauty to calm and delight your senses?
